Founder’s Reflection: On the Edge of Becoming (July 2025)

By Jacqualine Timms, Founder of LA PEAUX®

I’m standing at a crossroads.
Not just a physical one — though I am preparing to move house — but an emotional, spiritual, and visionary one.

For the past 18 years, I’ve been quietly preparing for this season.
Through personal growth, private battles, elegant breakthroughs, and moments no one else saw… I’ve been becoming the woman behind LA PEAUX®.

But now, everything is changing.
And even though I’ve built this brand on elegance, beauty, wellness, and personal development — I’ll be honest… this moment is terrifying.

Pioneering is lonely work.
When you carry a vision no one else has fully seen yet, there are days you ask yourself:

  • “Am I crazy to believe this big?”
  • “Is this the moment it all comes together — or all comes undone?”
  • “Why does something so aligned still feel so hard sometimes?”

But here’s what I’m learning in real time:

This fear I feel?
It’s not weakness.
It’s the tremble of becoming.

LA PEAUX was never just about beauty, skincare, or lifestyle.
It’s a movement.
It’s the call to live life on your terms — a life of brilliance
And I realize now, it had to begin with me.

So here I am — 67 years old.
Not slowing down. Not retiring. Not giving up.
But stepping fully into what I was born to build.

Moving homes feels symbolic.
It’s as though God is saying,

“You can’t stay where you were.
There’s more for you — and it’s time to move into it.”

And so I will.
With courage, with grace, and with open hands.

Because I know that LA PEAUX® is going to touch lives in ways I can’t even imagine yet.
And because deep down, I also know this:

Legends aren’t built in comfort zones.
They’re born at the crossroads — where vision meets faith.
